Service Description

This LIVE VIRTUAL course is for parents undergoing a divorce and have children aged younger than 18 years old. The format is video and lecture-based, with interactive prompts. There is a state mandated course evaluation and end-of-course assessment included. There will be a 30-minute lunch break built into the course. We encourage participants to bring their own food. DISCLAIMER: We want to take a moment and advise you that this workshop is psycho-educational, meaning that it was designed to serve as teaching and guidance for you and is not therapy. Educators are available to assist with class exercises, not to conduct therapy. About the Instructor: Araceli Gauna-Scattolini is a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Araceli has experience teaching the Parent Education & Family Stabilization Course for Pinellas County and is now bringing that expertise to Polk County.
