What happens in the first session?
We will talk about what led you to counseling, complete some general paperwork and discuss what you hope to get out of our sessions together.
How do I pay for this?
We accept private pay as well as some insurance plans.
All major credit cards are accepted, as well as debit cards, cash and HSA/FSA cards. Payment is due at the time of each session.
What about insurance?
We accept the following insurances:
Various Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
We are happy to check your insurance to see if we are in-network with your plan.
If you have Out-Of-Network benefits, we can also provide a Superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to see if you have Out-Of-Network benefits.
How do I make an appointment?
We are available by phone or by secure email to discuss your reasons for seeking counseling and address any questions you may have. We also have a client portal in order to streamline appointment requests located at: atalacounseling.clientsecure.me
If using insurance, we require your insurance information at least 24 hours prior to your appointment day in order for us to verify benefits and streamline the intake process for you.
