What happens in the first session?


We will talk about what brought you to seek out counseling services, complete some general paperwork and discuss what you hope to get out of our sessions together.​​




How do I pay for this?


All major credit cards are accepted, as well as debit cards, cash and HSA/FSA cards.​​​ Payment is due at the beginning of each session.




What about insurance?


We accept the following insurances: Aetna BCBS/Florida Blue Cigna Humana Medicare Various Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) We are happy to check your insurance to see if we are in-network with your policy. If you have Out-Of-Network benefits, we can also provide a Superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to see if you have Out-Of-Network benefits.




How do I make an appointment?


We are available by phone or by secure email to discuss your reasons for seeking counseling and address any questions you may have. We also have a client portal in order to streamline appointment requests. That link is: atalacounseling.clientsecure.me If using insurance, we require your insurance information 24 hours prior to your appointment day in order for us to verify benefits and streamline the intake process for you.
